Verruca - doctors or not?

DD1 (7) has what I think is a verucca on her toe. There was initially a black bit which looked like a splinter, but that came off, and now it's like a hard white/yellow dot and looks more like a verucca. She's periodically complaining that it hurts.

Should I take her to the doctors to confirm that it is a verucca before treating it? Or should I just get something over the counter? If so, can anyone recommend a product to get rid of it as quickly and painlessly as possible?

Try Bazuka products before going to the doctor.
