Hi all,
DD, 3y10mo, just had a full leg cast taken off today. Does anyone out there have experience of this with a child of this age? How did you find it? She is not an adventurous child and is very afraid of walking or doing anything she used normally to do. She is terrified of pain now. Luckily nursery are happy to take her back (she is there part-time) and that seems to encourage her to try things out as she's too busy to worry. At home she wants to be babied (but this probably has more to do with 10mo DS). Not sure how to handle it, any advice more than welcome.
