Hi there
I am just looking for some advice for my DD aged 5.8 years
DD lost her 1st tooth 3 months ago,the adult tooth was already there and has moved forward into its place, and then same with her secound tooth last month. They are the bottom front teeth.
She has been using proenamal children's toothpaste, as this was recomended, due to family history of weak enamel, and she also has alot of fruit in her diet.
I keep her juice intake to special occassions and she drinks water with her fruit.
I am asking for advice on two questions really
-
the adult teeth seem to be lacking enamel as in they are quite see through looking...will the enamel develop over time or should I be worried?
-
is she able to use listerence children's mouthwash. It says it for 6+, but there is no risk of her swallowing it and as she already has the adult teeth is there much difference between now and 4 months time when she will be six?
The only reason is that I am seperated from her dad, and while she is there he gives her lots of juice and sweets, and then also leaves her to brush her own teeth and I am hoping that the mouthwash might help in cleaning away stuff that may be left over.
Hope that makes sense, and that there is soemone to help
Thanks in advance x
