DD is 5 and gets tired very easily. She is not a huge eater but I always figured she ate enough to sustain herself, however I'm wondering if this is not the case. Her diet is balanced if fairly limited. In the veg department she eats carrots, green beans and sometimes broccoli. Eats almost all fruit. I give her multivits.

She sleeps well and from 7.30pm-6.30am.

Any tips?

Can you increase the calories generally in her food by adding more cheese or higher calorie veggies like avocados?

Is she fit? Do you need to build up her fitness by gently increasing her activity levels?

I try to pack in the calories with full fat milk, yoghurt and cheese. She does not like avocado.

She is very active and fit. She runs and climbs very well.

Could she be anaemic? Does she eat red meat or other vegetarian sources of iron, along with vit c?

She eats red meat probably once a week and perhaps chicken and fish once a week each. We are not big meat eaters in fact DH has been vegetarian since the beginning of the year so I have to make a concerted effort to provide meat meals but think I manage to adequately.

Would she need a blood test to determine anaemia?
