Have you tried saline drops and then a snot sucker ? The drops soften it up and then you can 'suck it out' sounds disgusting but it is great for those big bits !!!! DD1 had some mighty ones

someone told me about a snot sucker from sweden, frida something?
Have you heard of it? expecting number 2 in a few weeks so really need to get this sorted asap

I find that you need to put the drops in with head tilted back then you need to massage the nose a bit to get them right in . I think you can get the snot sucker in boots I live in Italy and they are readily available here ...they sell them in a box with the drops. I know you can get one with a small pump a ball looking thing in the Uk but I found that diddn't work as well.
When both mine were tiny it was alifesaver esp whne they had colds and were totally blocked between that and karvol it worked wonders...Good luck.

Boots do sell the snot sucker (aka nasal aspirator Grin), ask at the pharmacy counter. Personally I didn't find it too effective... An African friend of mine said it was better to suck it out yourself - I didn't like the sound of that though and have never tried!
