MMR Fever - how long does it last?

I know I know, MMR question, soooo boring! But I just wondered if someone could just give me a bit of reassurance on the fever from the MMR vaccine? My DD had her vaccination 10 days ago and yesterday started the fever, which has gone on throughout today and into this evening. Is it likely to subside perhaps tomorrow? Thanks!

about 2/3 days (I got worried too) - nurofen seemed to help dd better. IF its any help it stopped as quickly as it seemed to come on.

in fact may have been closer to 4 as remember that still wasnt quite right after I went back to work (it was over a weekend).

From here.

"About one week to 10 days after the MMR injection, some children get a very mild form of measles. This includes a rash, high temperature, loss of appetite and general feeling of being unwell for about two or three days."

My DD had this too. The fever lasted 2-3 days, then she wasn't quite herself for about a week in total. She had little measles type spots too, so don't worry if a rash appears.

6 weeks I am afraid for my dd. Ds and other dd had no problems, but middle child was ill with mild form of all three illnesses for 6 weeks....oh what a fun time that was! Still they assure me she will have excellent resistance now, and after she got over it she was absolutely fine that was five years ago. Good Luck
