Skin redness and spots on chin

At birth my DD had wee spots on her cheeks. A doctor said it was eczema and prescribed epiderm cream. She is now 2yrs 8 months and since start of summer, her chin has reddened and spots are flaring up. Practically the whole of the bottom half of her face is affected. Its not itchy. Last week, doc prescribed penicillin but it seems even worse. Whats next? Should we see a specialist?

this sounds a little similar to something i had i could be totally wrong but its worth telling you as i know children can get it.

its called perorial dermatitis, i had it for well over a year the gp kept telling me it was eczema etc. gave me loads of different creams etc.. steroids would clear it up for a few days then it would flare even worse. mine was all around the bottom half of my face, it looked red and i had tiny little spots, didnt itch etc..
i actually diagnosed my self by searching online and after 18 mnths of going bk and forth went in told them what i thought it was and what i needed which was a tetracycline antibiotic, it went within a week!!

look it up see what you think, failing that i would def ask to see a dermatolagist (sp)
