Should I be worried?

DD1 (1yo)has now been off food for about two days. Virtually completely. With v red cheeks, runny nose, not really a fever as such...Ususally a food monster! But taking v little (not even yoghurt/little water and milk). I would sit it out but nappies are drier and no stool today.

Aprt from general misery (crying etc) she is alert and playing and interacting so now worried bout that.

I think it is teeth...can it seriously cause such enormous upset?

Please give advice or reassurance?

I'd guess at teething too. It can be awful.

Don't worry about food, but keep trying with fluids, any type of drink good. Normal for kids not to eat when feeling poorly IME, but important not to get dehydrated. Signs are dry nappies, strong smelling pee, sunken eyes. Not sure if teeth can cause this, but wouldn't worry unless won't drink. Obviously, check if temp, Calpol, etc. Hope gets well soon

thanks all.Ususally she gulps down morning and evening bottle (10oz) and water during the day. The am bottle only half taken and at mo taking half an oz at a time. She keeps pushing it away and trying as much as poss water but she was never keen on it anyway.

AHHH!We are so spoilt: she is a real honey & eating has never been an issue. I am so easily defeated.
