pre school boosters

hello

I was wondering if someone could advise I took my son for his MMR late he had it age 3. I have just booked him for his pre school boosters and I am a little concerned that he will have another dose of MMR and it has been less than a year between doses. When my daughter had her MMR late they wouldn't give her the MMR booster as I was told there had to be a 3 year gap I asked at the time my son was having his MMR and they said this was nonsense. The nurse had already had a go at me about putting my children at risk and gave me a lecture on ill informed parents, as it is I am making my partner take my son for his injections as I really do not like the nurses attitude. Should I decline the MMR booster and make another appointment for that one in a year or two? My partner is not one for making a fuss and would just go along and let them give both. I have been unable to find the right information on line and do not feel I can discuss with the nurse who is in charge of the childrens immunisations. So any advise would be fantastic. Thankyou in advance. Smile

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My ds2 has just had his first Imm's at 3.5yo.

We opted for MMR because he goes to Nursery in September.

The Practice Nurse said he wouldn't need a preschool booster because he'd had the first later than is usual.

There doesn't have to be a 3 year gap btw, they just like it that way Hmm
