mole?????

Hi all, just noticed on my 11month old dc a irregular shape patch of darker skin with faint little hairs growing on the patch. Is about the size of 2 ponnd coin ish. And is on her tummy. The skin colour is a light brown very faint, almost like a mole is starting to appear? But I thought I were born with them?? The hairs are very definate and only growing on the patch of darker skin. We are on hols at month so can't see my reg doc. We aren't abroad so she isn't expose to the sun, never has been. Any advice?? Worrying!!! Xxxx

I think it is pretty normal for children to develop moles, even if they weren't born with them and even if they haven't been exposed to the sun.

I can't imagine it is going to be a medical emergency, so go see your GP when you have time after you get back to get your mind put at rest.
