Which are the best travel sickness tablets?

Driving from Leeds to Poole and then on the fast ferry to France - DS isn't the best traveller - haven't used travel sickness tablets before but think I will have to for the long journey - can anyone reccomend some good ones that work? (I've bought the travel bands but not sure how long a 5 year old will keep them on the correct pulse point!!) Thanks

we use Kwells from Boots, ds likes the taste and they are chewy. they seem to do the trick, also try entertaining him whilst travelling, our ds gets bored really quickly and then he thinks about being ill
