I am taking him this afternoon for another test, what will happen if he fails that too?

The hv refused to test him when he was younger so we went private and was told his hearing was at the lower end of normal.

I feel so guilty.

how old is he?

Glad he passed yay!!!

He is 5.

DH and I are a little as to how he can suddenly pass when we know there is a problem.

He passed his newborn test even though he didn't react to any noise for weeks afterwards.

Does seem odd that he passed if you think there is a problem.

Is he being seen again?

DS (also 5) had a grommets op last week and the hearing test a few days before op was greatly improved on the test 4mths before

No. I already knew there was nothing that could be done, it just seems odd. I wasn't convinced by the way the test was done tbh.

All sounds very intriging, what do you think is the problem ? What sort of testing was done ?
