Scrape from a rusty nail?

DS age 6 got a scrape from a rusty nail on his toe at the weekend. We cleaned it etc and I know his injections are all up to date (including tetanus) - do I still need to take him to the doctors - is there still a risk of tetanus?

If hes had tetanus then he`ll be ok for that ...it lasts ten years .

Did it bleed? Tetanus bacteria are anaerobic so any wound that bleeds freely will not be a risk. If you cleaned it as well he's probably fine.
