Ibuprofen product for 9y+

Baby Nurofen dose for a 9yo is 2x5ml, which = 1 standard tablet of 'adult' ibuprofen.

But when 9yo ds1 is poorly he sometimes struggles to take both spoonsful, and totally balks at swallowing a large tablet.

Is there an in-between product, eg like the Calpol 6+, where the child can take a smaller volume to get the same dosage?

Have you tried those Calpol tablets which taste ok-ish and don't have to be swallowed? I know they contain paracetamol, not ibuprofen but perhaps Nurofen do something similar?

Nurofen do something called 'nurofen melts'. You suck them and one tablet is the same as 2 5ml spoons. They taste lemony and are quite nice.

Thanks!
