I have discovered 3 large verrucas on dd's foot!
I need some great methods of getting rid, so what have you found to be most effective?
They are currently taped up, but wonder if i should do more?

I was told by hospital chiropodist that normally, you should leave them alone. Apparently they get better by themselves although this may take a while (few months).

One of DS's verrucae was slightly under his toenail and had to be got rid of - so was told to get silver nitrate stick from chemist. DS is 8 btw.

Although I only treated one of the verrucae, the other got better at the same time. I was told it was probably the silver nitrate stick which kickstarted his immune system.

But no, I suspect you don't need to do anything if they're not causing pain.

My cousin is a chiropodist and says the best way to get rid of them is to keep duct tape on them til they go. Dont know why, but it works.

I used a liquid Nitrogen kit you can buy from the chemist and it worked well on DD. Verrucas are warts on the foot and will eventually drop off by themselves. However, if your DD goes swimming or does anything else bare foot (such as gymnastics) then the verruca will have to be covered to prevent it spreading to others.
