has become a magical bedtime assistant for ds, 18 months. i get some really excellent cuddles out of him whilst we're reading it, much more so than anything else.

does anyone else have a favourite bedtime book for this age group? i am aware that nothing lasts forever!

We loved/love 'I like it when' too . DS choice of books has sometimes varied, more so now he's nearly 3, but I think at that time his favourites were Rod Campbell's Dear Zoo, various Sandra Boynton books (esp Hippos Go Berserk) and Peggy Rathmann's Good Night Gorilla. All ones that WE'VE enjoyed reading too ...

Mary Murphy has another book 'I kissed the baby' I think it's called.

We LOVED it at this age, read it everynight. I used to sing the words outloud and do the actions to ds.
