My DD is 6.2 and has recently read The mum minder, best friends, Lizzie Zipmouth and Sleepovers. I had a quick look in Waterstones and they seem to jump in size and content to those which she is not ready for yet ie. social issues that she would not understand. Does anyone have any reccomendations of any that fill the gap between the ones that I have listed and the ones for older children.Thanks.

Is there one called Cliffhanger?

I agree, many are meant for older children.

WHat about trying some other authors too?

Will have a look at Cliffhanger, thanks JPWMH. She does read loads of different authors, J.Wilson being one of many that are on the go at the moment, and If she is enjoying them then I am keen to support her.
