Religious stories for children

I'm looking for some stories from non- Christian religions to give my children a better overall view of our world religions. Can anyone recommend any?

I don't want books about Bible stories, more things like tales of Rama and Mohammed, hey through in some Shinto tales as well please. Thanks

How old are they?

I have found it tricky to find stuff pitched at the right level for very small children. We have quite a nice life of Krishna that I'll look up the details on.

Oh, and my mother recently gave us a book with stories from most major world religions (and a few minor ones). I'll look up what that's called, too, if I can find it.

Well my daughter is 4 but it's really just to complement the bible stories.
