Dd who is almost 7 has recently been saying that she enjoys history and I wonder if there are any books pitched at this age?

Bubblefacts - this range of books are really nice for this age. They do a range of hisotry ones, in additional to other topics.

I Wonder Why - some of these are hsitory based too and again are pretty good for this age and a bit older too.

These look good esp the bubblefacts - think I may well get some since it seems as if history is her new love.

We have quite a few. I did manage to find some in The Works for 99p each.

The Usbourne young reading series has a few nice history-based ones. My 7 year old has enjoyed the Castles one, and is currently reading about Florence Nightingale!

I suspect that horrible histories on cbbc has helped to fuel the interest in the subject.
