French study book for Y7/Y8 ?

Can anyone recommend one for my ds (11)?
He is in Y7 and really enjoying German but not enjoying French so much. When we've spoken it's because he finds it a bit harder so wanted something that we could go through at home to give him a bit more confidence. Have looked on Amazon but there are lots to choose from so thought would ask for advice/opinions!

Have yu tried "Galore Park". www.galorepark.co.uk

The french one also comes with a CD for audio tests and to compliment each chapter of the book
