Facts of Life

My nearly-4-year-old daughter is very into nature documentaries and has begun to ask difficult questions like "what's mating?"! I am keen to give her honest answers but could do with a book for assistance... can anyone recommend one? The ones I've found on Amazon seem to be aimed at older children.
Thanks!

Have you tried asking your local Library? They sometimes have books that they can recommend

we have a great one called "Mummy laid an egg" by Babette Cole. When my 5 year old son started asking about facts of life, I bought this book. It tells the truth but with child friendly picture and all very nicely explained but at the right level. I highly recommend it.

Also recommend "How babies are made from Usborne. Age 3+. Its a flip up book with very good pics etc.
