How can you make a family photo book for a toddler

Hi

I would love to make a book for my 1 year old for Christmas that displays pictures and names of his family. I can find loads of websites that put these types of books together but I really want to do one that has 'chunky' pages (i.e. the pages made from card that won't bend or rip) rather than paper pages?

Does anyone know of a good website that creates this type of book for you if you upload photos to it?

Thank you!

haven't found a good online supplier

I ended up making one by hand for dd - printed photos and captions myself on thin card, trimmed to A5, glued them back to back so pages had two sides, got them laminated (try Rymans or a print/photocopy shop) , punched holes in them and threaded them together with ribbon.

Do you have a bookstart group near you (perhaps in a local library?) Ours makes laminated books using your photos.

Not in the UK, sadly (I think I did find one in the US once but can't find the link now).

As an alternative, you could do something with the Galt Soft Photo Album and either just regular 6x4 photos or do 6x4 photos with names superimposed on them.

I did this recently using Photobox - I ended up with a small album with the photos bonded to the plastic pages so they can't be ripped or dribbled on. I don't think you can add captions to the small album though, maybe you can with the bigger ones.
