Some might be, some you'd probably want to wait a while IMO.

Can you give us a list of titles and we can comment more specifically?

(at 5 I think most would be probably more advanced than you'd wish in terms of subject matter, but only a few would actively traumatise her)

here goes:
Cliffhanger
The Suitcase Kid
The Lottie Project
Bad Girls
Buried Alive
Lizzie Zipmouth
The Bed and Breakfast Star
The Dare Game

thanks Professor, she has always loved books and i am not sure about these yet.

do you have any suggestions?

Lizzie Zipmouth would be OK.

In general, those which say "Corgi Pups" or "Young Corgi" on them will probably be OK in terms of content.

"Corgi Yearling" books will be getting more mature in content and it's a personal choice whether you think you want your DD dealing with the subject matter; the language may also be a bit stronger in places (nothing too extreme, but IIRC The Suitcase Kid includes the word "slut" at one point, for example).

Anything which is just "Corgi" will be aimed at teenagers.

Gubberslyme is OK as well, but I'd read them all yourself. Best way to judge.

I don;t think any of them are suitable for a 5 year old - the content is just not appropriate. Just reading the blurb should give you an idea of what they are about.

thanks ladies - i didnt think i could give them her yet, never mind sure santa will bring her some others IYKWIM
