I love this book. I think it's genius.

However I have just noticed through looking carefully at the pictures how near the lake is. Jesus, no wonder America is so dependent on oil

The rhythm is v catchy (Off they went in the rattletrap car; It didn't go fast and it didn't go far....) and the pictures are v funny.
I heard it on CBeebies Bedtime Hour and it's the only time I've ever thought 'I have to get that!' about one of their stories.
