I WISH IT WOULD RAIN - NOT A BOOK
BUT A LOVELY LITTLE POEM
My little girl would much rather draw than read. So when the school asked that she learn the poem I wish it would rain off by heart, I panicked.
Then I tried to think of ways to make her enjoy the poem so she would remember it. First, I got her to draw all the characters then she coloured them in on the computer. My partner sings for a living so managed to record her acting out the characters in the story.
She took the little animation into school and they liked it so much they used it in their assembly. Proud Mum moment.
Hope your children enjoy her little voice as the flying ant. She had the parents rolled up with laughter.
