telling fibs

Does anyone know of a book aimed at toddler/pre-schoolers about telling fibs? My almost 3yr old Dd has just started doing it and thought a book might help.

Can't help with a book suggestion (my DCs are much older) but don't want to see you languish un-remarked. Is there any reason you can't just say to her, "You made that up, didn't you"? Obviously continue the conversation after that, and get on to why you shouldn't tell lies etc, but I don't think you need a book to challenge fairly standard toddler behaviour.

Or relate the Very Old Story about shepherds and wolves.

Or what about Matilda who told such Dreadful Lies

There's a great series from Usborne - see this link

At that age, though, it's not normally lying as such. They seem to genuinely believe that if they assert something vehemently enough then it will make it true. There's a subtle shift later on into telling proper lies.
