I too read it when I was 12 and read it again recently - It was really interesting to compare my reactions - either way the prospect is scary

WHat a horrible book, I remember having to read it for school and having nigtmares for weeks afterwards. Between that and watching 'Threads' in history, I do wonder why my school were trying to give me such nuclear paranoia
