What do you know about Guantanamo?

I've just read Guantanamo Boy and am now left with questions.

Has anyone else read it?

Is it accurate and well-researched? Is the story (presented as fact) basically true? There is very little in the book in terms of prelims or endmatter about the book or the author.

When I discussed it with dh he said he didn't find it very plausible that Pakistan would have allowed America to remove suspected terrorists from Pakistan at that time.

My starting assumption with a book these days is that it is well-researched and historically accurate or at least plausible. I want to check out some more details before recommending it to my son or other young people.

I haven't read this (it sounds interesting, may have a look), but certainly minors were detained at Guantanamo - one story here

I have just started it - it is based on true facts and I am pretty sure minors were detained there. There is info on the official site and

How come I couldn't find the official site by googling?
