Aesop's fables

A friend's DD is being baptised in a couple of weeks and I was thinking of getting her a book of Aesop's fables or something similar. Had a look on Amazon but it's difficult to tell which ones are good quality editions in terms of look and feel. Can any of you recommend one? Budget is probably about £15 give or take a few quid.

Would also welcome recommendations for other books.

Thanks

What about something gorgeous like this?

That does look nice.

The version retold by Michael Morpurgo and illustrated by Emma Chichester Clark is lovely. See here.

Thanks for that. A couple of the reviews actually recommend it as a christening present so it sounds like a safe bet.
