Usbourne do a 'Pirate Make & Do' - maybe everyone could make something to take home?

My DS loved 'Pirate Boy' by John Wallace at that age

Captain Abduls pirate school. Funny, lots of decent puns for grown ups and a good story. comes in picture book or paper back format.

Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs by Giles Andrae and Russell Ayto, the CAptain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs: Missing Treasure, are great!

Muddle Pirates is great (Axel Scheffler) - you have little magnets to stick on the pages to make the story you want.

Peephole Pirates is great too... but probably too young for 4 year olds- might be nice for any little siblings who are invited though....
