It is back!

I was very slightly too poor/common/young for it back in the day

I used to covet the magazines greatly

but now I shall live vicariously through my children and get a subscription, yay

I've asked my mum to get dd a subscription for Christmas. Hope it's good. (I too have a dim memory of really, really wanting a subscription and never getting one.)

Oh lovely!
I had a subscription when I was about 12, I reveiwed a book which they sent me and had the review published, won an art competition and had my picture in an exhibition.... Actually thinking about it now The Puffin Club was one of the few things that boosted my confidence and helped me believe there were people like me out there, as a lonely, bookish adolescent...
