Book for child with broken arm...

I need inspiration for a child who has just broken her arm badly and needed an operation to set it right. She has just got home today, but it will take a while to recover.

She is 4.5.

I was thinking of The Stick Man, but wanted something else too maybe subject related. My sister doesn't want her to lose her sense of adventure and be frightened.

Im sure she will be fine, my little girl broke her leg last year ( age 2) and its all fine now!!
