Thomas the Tank Engine books

Does anyone know if there is a book in the Thomas series about an engine called Sean/Shaun? I have been looking for one for my godson, as I vaguely remember seeing one in the shops, but I can't track it down on Amazon.

Any Thomas completists out there who might know? THank you

The only ones beginning with S in the My Thomas Library are Salty, Sir Handel, Skarloey, Spencer, and Stepney. They are all on offer here

eddas - there are 50 books in that set, but there isn't a book for every engine - eg "Lady" - there isn't one for her. There is also no book entitled Sean/Shaun in that set (don't know if there is an engine called that). (We bought it recently and DS loves it!).

There are more than 50 now, I hate them. I'm not sure if one of the new ones is called sean though.

don't worry crokky. It's weird that it's touting itself as 'complete' though if there's missing ones. I was planning on getting it for ds for christmas probably still will as it's good price

It is wierd! I don't know why there isn't a book for each existing character - the 5 new books are "new" characters I think.

I got the set from the book people about 3 weeks ago and DS absolutely loves it to bits. I think I will get the 5 extra books and put them in his Christmas stocking or something.

If you buy that boxed set for your DS, it has cardboard inserts inside the box which you can take out and slot the 5 new books in there instead.

I'm a bit snobby about the new characters. There are far too many IMO. From now on I've decided I'm only buying the original books in their original versions. The rest is just profiteering on the back of the new TV series and as a rule I don't buy any TV spin offs.

By "new series" I mean anything that's not narrated by Ringo Star.
