Help - I am sure it's been done before but need advice! My ds 9 has been talking about sex (said in a giggly whisper!) with his friends, and not got quite the right idea!We have always chatted about things as they've been mentioned but think I need a book that he can read in his own time as well.

Any suggestions for a modern, entertaining 'facts of life' book that we can read?

Bump for you because I am interested in getting one too.

Let's Talk About Sex by Robie H Harris. It's fab, just been working through it with my 9 yo ds and he loved it.

Thanks for that - not heard of that one so will check on Amazon.

One of my friends said there is one called 'Where Willy went..' that is quite good too!

Where Willy went is great but perhaps aimed at younger children than 9. If you are looking for a picture book approach there is always 'mummy laid an egg' by babette cole , although this is not to everyones taste so i suggest a read through in a bookshop before you purchase it. I have just read 'made with love' by Kate Petty to my 5yo dd, which deals with all the facts in straight forward matter of fact approach, but again this may be too young for you.
