My daughter age 8 loves A little Princess, she has read the young abridged usbourne version but is wanting the full book. She gets put off with lots of block text although can read well. I am looking for a version with lots of pictures- can anyone recommend one?? You can’t see inside books online!

Does she sometimes have difficulty in visualising the scenes?
She could watch the 90s film version to be able to set some pictures in her mind - if that makes sense.
The film changes a few things plot wise but it's a beautiful version.
The Secret Garden film from the same era is also a lovely version.

Font wise the current Puffin Classic editions have a decent font (old versions the text is sometimes tiny).

Thank you, no she has a vivid imagination. She is a good reader and very capable but just likes pictures to break it up and comment on.

We actually did watch the film, she quite liked it but prefers her audio radio play version to listen to.
