Christmas gift - writing and printing your own story book

DD (7) likes to write stories, and DH illustrates, they make a little A5 book with staples in the side, and she’s happy enough. She’s now asked Santa if he can create a proper book of these stories 😬

Does anyone know of any websites that would do this?! She does put a lot of effort into these stories, and I think it would make a nice gift for her to keep, but not wanting to have to remortgage in the process!

I think your best bet would be to take photos of each of the pages and then create a photo book of the pictures

DSis and I did this for DM’s 60th birthday. I wrote out the stories she used to tell us and printed them on thick paper. DSis did some watercolour illustrations. We took it to a bookbinder and had it hardbound.

That’s a great idea!

What a lovely gift. I’ll see if there’s any bookbinders nearby who would do this. Thank you
