Hi everyone! 😊
I’m currently working on my final project for my Publishing Master’s degree, where I’m researching the children’s reading crisis. Growing up, I always loved reading, so I was saddened to learn that many kids stop reading for fun around age nine, known as the "decline by 9" (Scholastic, 2019).
As part of my research, I’m creating my own middle-grade book and would love your input! I’ve put together a short survey to understand how children aged 9–12 are engaging with books and what they’d like to see in a book.
If you’re a parent, guardian, or family member of a child aged 9–12, I’d be really grateful if you could take just 5 minutes to fill out the survey. Your responses would massively help me with my project and contribute to understanding how to make reading more fun and engaging for this age group.
If you know anyone else who could help, please feel free to share the link! 😊
Thanks so much for your time and support!
Nina
