My DS took part in a book swap at school and came home with a very eclectic collection. One of them was an Audrey Tarrant book and I was immediately taken back to my own childhood. I have often thought of a picture book with half pages about thieves and one involving a bridesmaid. The Audrey Tarrant book reminded me of those books and we definitely had a couple of the Pipsqueak books but it does not seem that she illustrated the ones I was hankering after. Can anyone think of a similar illustrator in the 70s/80s?
