Can anyone recommend fun rhyming books like The Pirates Next Door by Jonny Duddle for my 6 year old? Thanks!

Am not going to be useful but my son loved reading all Johnny Duddles books. the pirates and the piper, the Jolly Rogers books. A great way to boost his reading and he would read to us a chapter a night. Very good with the anticipation. He was 5 and is now 6 and I wish we could read through the series again.

There is one book about blackbeard fighting another pirate who turns out to be a woman. Will look up the title later n let you know. Has repeating verse.

Mine loved the Night Pirates at that age, but I can't remember if it is rhyming.

its slightly different but great fun for Christmas is 'The Christmas Quest' - which is lots of mini stories related to essentially, pirate santa!

Totally different to anything i've read with the kids but they loved it!
