2 children's books. I read them
In the early 80's.
The first one was a family who moved to Australia. There was a teenage girl who didn't like it. I remember her drinking a glass of juice and there was black seeds at the bottom and she thought they were bugs. That's all I remember.
The second was a group of children at a small country school with one teacher and about 10 pupils. The teacher was sick and the children took over running the school. The elder ones taught the younger ones and a couple of children cooked, I remember them cooking grass soup.
I'd love to read them again if anyone can help name them.
