DD loves her bedtime flap book (No Bed Without Ted) and I'd love to hear about other favourites in your house.

Dear Zoo has been a favourite of DD's since she was very small. She's now 2 and 'reads' it to herself. There's also a lovely one called Night Night Baby which I often buy for new babies.

Wheelybug · 02/04/2008 13:18

I was going to say Dear Zoo. Fabulous. Also, 'where's spot' (DD still reads this at 3) and wibbly pig (the flap ones are Wibbly Pig's garden and Everyone Hide.. DD still loves these too.

I bought the Pocoyo lift the flap books "Hide and Seek", "Building a Tower" and "The Race" shortly after my ds turned one and he adored them (and still does). Many of his first words were from the books as we read them so much

Lazylou · 08/04/2008 22:25

I bought Dear Zoo for a project I was doing during my nursery nurse training. DD wasn't interested in it, so I got the animals from the story on ebay and told it to her that way. She was soon keen on it!

JackieNo · 08/04/2008 22:27

Wibbly pig and Spot go down well with DS too. Likewise Maisy ones.

Hulababy · 08/04/2008 22:30

DD used to like Spot and Kipper books.

jaq39 · 08/04/2008 22:59

DS loves peepo baby!

llareggub · 08/04/2008 23:23

My favourite is the Very Hungry Caterpiller. It brings back so many memories and it is lovely to read it with DS.

Apart from that, we have a Meg and Mog flap book that DS loves and of course Maisy.

shrub77 · 09/04/2008 23:23

Any Spot book is a big hit in this house , but we have "dabbled" in Maisy and Kipper lift-the-flap books. I do agree that the "Everyone hide.." Wipply Pig book was possible one of the best (other than the annoying flep at the back which goes thru 2 pages)

But my dd seems to be engrossed in a lift-the-flap Bible Stories book her Godmother gave her. Lots of animals to look at and bright colours. Keeps her entertained long enough in the morning for a very good snooze!

Tapster · 19/04/2008 22:15

Maisy's big flap book is the best but all Maisy's are good. There is also a bunnies book which is great - can't remember what its called but Usborne books.

chocolatespiders · 19/04/2008 22:16

peek a boo baby

spot

MrsWeasley · 19/04/2008 22:19

"everyone hide from wibbly pig", went down well with mine

Anushka · 21/04/2008 16:47

Peepo was a favourite of both my dd and nephew seems keen too (I quite like it as well).
