Book on Geography for 12yo (average learner)

Can someone recommend a book that's visually appealing for a child who's never been that interested in her geography lessons in school for inspiration, please? I saw a DK book (attached), but it's not general geography but more about things, animals etc., but visually this is on track to what I'm looking for. TIA.

@Forgottenmyphone Thanks for the suggestons; I prefer one that has facts about countries such as longest rivers, highest populatons, flags that kind of thing. I'm asking as I wanted to buy for someone's child who didn't get much for Christmas so I'd like to ensure that the book is going to give them a lot of joy and learning (hopefully!)
