DS2 (exceptionally bright, aged 10, but never been interested in reading non-fiction) and I discovered this series recently. He bought the first book and had read it within 24 hours, now reading it again (because I cannot afford to buy him the next one just yet).
He reads very little fiction (so far, only Narnia series, LOTR, Eragon and sequel, and, a few years back, the Moomintroll books) but he is like a changed boy suddenly: mad keen to read all the Cat Warrior series (there seem to be about 16, so that would keep him going for a fortnight if we had them ). I have not read it yet, but they seem to be fantasy books about warring clans of cats.
Anyone else's child a fan?
