Self Published Picture Book about Mental Health and Football...

Hi Mums,

My name's David Vaughan, I'm a football coach, actor (and also reality tv show winner on C4's Selling Super Houses) and writer. I've self published my first Children's picture book which deals with anxiety and mental health through football and geography.

The book launched last week and we're already in Waterstones and across all libraries in Merton (my local borough). So thought i'd post the book here as it would make a lovely conversation stimulator and fun stocking filler for Xmas.

Congratulations on writing your book. How did you get into Waterstones if you are self published? Is it just your local branch?

Thanks. I paid a publishing company to print the book and they offer a marketing package where they present your book to stockists like Waterstones. And if they like it they stock it and I guess Waterstones liked it. Im still trying to figure out how to get it on the physical shelves though, I popped into my local store and explained im a local writer adn they said they might put it on their shelves, so maybe try that.
