Science books for a 10yo

Clearing out DS’s books yesterday I realised that we’ve not got him any books about sciences for ages.

Are there any particularly good non-fiction science books for 10 year olds? He likes anything but especially flight and space.

Has he read the George series of books by Lucy & Stephen Hawkin?

Not strictly science, but related - Jules Verne books?

DK do good science books . They do tend to bring out new ones regularly so worth a Google

Kay’s anatomy is great for that age. It explains how the body works in a funny, child friendly way but lots of the knowledge is quite high level. It isn’t space though! (Also it does cover reproduction so be prepared for questions on that!)

Tim Peake has a lot published aimed at different ages. The latest is The Cosmic Diary of our Incredible Universe.

Horrible Science, if he hasn't got them already.
