I spent ages finding a red knitted her for her & sorted out
Baggy brown shorts
Long sleeved t-short witha collar
Tanktop
Trainers
Compass
Shakle, Block & rope

So that she could dress up as Nancy Blackett one of the Amazons from 'Swallows & Amazons"

& now she says no-one knows who Nancy is & can she go as someone else
Grrrr

oooh how annoying

Dd2 is going as Professor McGonagall, which is handy as I made her a Prof McG costume for halloween last year

However on Friday they are both dressing up for a fundraising day so I am currently making a yellow elephant and a Mr Happy costume (and they are NOT allowed to change their minds!!)

I told her no-one would know who Nancy was - when she chose it a month ago

Silly girl

I reckon half the kids who turn up will be wearing costumes of unidentifiable characters. DW & I wondered if they are supposed to be carrying the book in with them as well.

Lots of boys in DD's class coming as footballers because there is a book about football in the school library FGS

That's very true

I am disinclined to change at this late dat tbh

I am too damn lazy
