Normal kindle paper white or kids kindle paper white for 9 year old?

My dd is 9. She is dyslexic so struggles reading but she loves it. We're currently reading Harry Potter (I'm reading to her) and she's obsessed.
She's asked for a kindle for Christmas (as that's what I have)
Does anyone have experience of the kids version? I know it comes with books ( but not Harry Potter!) and I'm concerned that it may be more restrictive as she gets older. Should I just get the normal version?

I think they're exactly the same to be honest. Kids one has a fancy cover and comes with the kids subscription with the free books. If you already have a kids subscription in the kindle fire tablet or similar then you just log it in to that account I think! My daughter has one. Looks the same as mine physically just depends on what you log in as
