So my 16 month old LOVES this book at bedtime, giggles, say pooh at the right times, wiggles his tongue at the cheetah, it's a delight to read! But it's the ONLY book he wants to read at bedtime ... And I would like a little variety haha!

So if your little one loved this? What would you recommend next?

Tried we are going on a bear hunt and he wasn't interested!

TIA!

I'm not familiar with that book but others perfect for that age include:-

Pants - Giles Andraea
Shark in the Park - Nick Sharratt
Hooray for Fish - Lucy Cousins

All 3 authors have other similar books along the same lines in each series.

Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's Acorn Wood series is also great for that age, with interactive flaps, but they're not necessarily humorous or repetitive if that's what your're looking for.

Spot books are also lovely for that age.

Do you visit the library at all? Children are all different and like different books at different ages so it's worth experimenting there to see which ones he takes a shine to and saving shop/online purchases for ones you know have been a hit. Although keep coming back to Bear Hunt etc as just because he's not interested at 15 months doesn't mean he won't be at 2, 3, 4 etc.
