What is this book?

Hello everyone sorry not a lot to go on. I was just chatting with a friend who was reminiscing about a book she read years ago to her children. It’s about a Moses basket and it’s life of looking after babies, then being used around the house and then being a home for mice in the garden shed! Does this ring belle with anyone ?? Many thanks

I don’t suppose it’s Our House by Dorothy Edwards and Priscilla Lamont? It’s about four generations of families living in a particular house. Don’t remember the mice though and I don’t have a copy to hand.
