Epistolary books for kids? Or any other recommendations for reluctant readers?

Are there any decent epistolary novels for 10/11 year olds? I have a capable albeit reluctant reader and desperately trying to find something...anything...that might encourage her to read. Or are there any other books you could recommend to capture the imagination of a child who appears to be disinterested by all genres sigh
